The Fun Mile Returns to Run Barbados Marathon Weekend: A Three-Day Running Festival

The much-awaited Run Barbados Marathon Weekend, celebrating its 40th year, is back with the return of the exciting Fun Mile event. Set to take place from December 8th to 10th, the Run Barbados Marathon Weekend is renowned as the largest marathon in the Caribbean and promises a blend of fitness and fun for athletes and sports enthusiasts from around the world.

A Blend of Fitness and Fun

The prestigious Run Barbados Marathon Weekend has a reputation for attracting thousands of athletes and sports enthusiasts from the USA, Canada, Europe, and the Caribbean. The event offers a high-quality experience, with the Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc (BTMI) ensuring that fun, entertainment, and culture are abundant throughout this special 40th edition.

Three Days of Festivities

The Run Barbados Marathon Weekend stands apart as possibly the only three-day running festival in the world. Kicking off the festivities at the historic Garrison Savannah on December 8th, the Fun Mile event invites participants to dress in costumes, run with friends and colleagues, and have a memorable evening. Alongside the Fun Mile, the marathon offers a variety of races catering to every skill level.
