Experience the Delightful Holiday Festivities of the 26th Annual Inn-to-Inn Cookie Tour, Dec. 9-10, 2023

For over a quarter century, the Mt. Washington Valley Inn-to-Inn Cookie Tour has delighted cookie lovers and holiday enthusiasts alike, becoming a cherished holiday tradition in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Revelers are invited to join in once again on December 9-10, 2023, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, as the Country Inns in the White Mountains host the longest-running cookie tour in New England.

Immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere, relishing scrumptious cookies, and discovering decorating ideas and take-home recipes at nine beautiful and historic properties. This joyous holiday festival also offers the opportunity for overnight stays at these picturesque inns, along with special demonstrations, artists, and craft sales for all your holiday shopping needs.

Each of the nine inns on the 24th Annual Inn to Inn Cookie Tour will feature original recipes for everything from sweet to savory holiday treats and decorating inspiration from exquisite holiday décor and trees. Tourgoers will receive a keepsake collection of recipes for sweet treats from each inn in a keepsake cookbook too.

Save your appetite because there will be so many different holiday cookies to try! In previous years, guests enjoyed delicacies including:

– Fig & Ginger
– Chocolate Almond
– Cornmeal, Apricot & Sage
– Gingersnaps
– Peppermint Meltaway Bars
– Chocolate Mint Blondies
– Irish Ricotta Cookies
– Lemon Creamcheese Cookies
– Turtle Thumbprint Cookies
– Lemon Icebox Cookies
– Shortbread Cookies

Cookie Tour tickets are available now by reserving a lodging package from participating inns. This is the best way to secure a ticket for a weekend of cookies. Each participating inn offers a VIP Lodging package including two-nights accommodations, two tour tickets ($70 value), the 2023 Holiday Recipe Cookbook, a keepsake ornament, and the chance to win a $250 getaway gift certificate from the Country Inns in the White Mountains. Some inns are offering packages with dinners, sleigh rides, live music, and more. There will be a limited number of one-night packages offered. For more information on all lodging packages, visit the Cookie Tour packages page: https://www.countryinnsinthewhitemountains.com/reserve-your-cookie-tour-package-now/

The only way to guarantee admission is with a lodging package. However, a limited number of single tickets will be offered for sale starting November 27 until they sell out. Single tickets cost $35 per person by purchasing tickets online at https://cookietour.square.site/ All tickets must be reserved in advance. There will be no ticket sales on the day of the event as tickets generally sell out, so make plans early to attend the tour.

Many inns welcome local artisans selling their unique hand-made items ranging from hand-stitched bath towels from The Skinny Towel and goat milk soap and beauty products from Garden Dreams. Others sell home-made food products like gingerbread, fudge, dry rub, jams, and jellies. Others host local crafters including Simple Sacks and Morning Star Beads.

More artisans will be announced as the holiday season approaches. Visitors are encouraged to save holiday shopping for the Inn to Inn Cookie Tour, to bring home unique and locally created gifts for all.

The Inn to Inn Cookie Tour stretches from Jackson to Eaton, NH, and Chocorua, NH, to Fryeburg, Maine, with nine inns opening their doors to those searching for fabulous holiday treats, recipes, gifts, and decorating ideas. No inn is more than fifteen minutes from the next, with many much closer. The inns participating in the 2023 tour include the Inn at Crystal Lake in Eaton; Snowvillage Inn in Snowville, Wildcat Inn, and Inn at Ellis River in Jackson. In North Conway, visit the Cranmore Inn, and the Samuel O’Reilly House. Start or finish the tour in Fryeburg, ME, at the Admiral Peary Inn B&B or at The Farmstand B&B in Chocorua, NH. New for 2023, the Inn at Thorn Hill in Jackson, NH is now part of the Cookie Tour.

Each year, a portion of the proceeds from the Inn to Inn Cookie Tour are donated to a local nonprofit. Once again, the Country Inns in the White Mountains will donate to End 68 Hours of Hunger Program to help ease the strain of hunger for local children on weekends when they are not provided with school meals. Throughout the tenure of this event over $10,000 has been donated by the Country Inns in the White Mountains to this and other non-profit groups throughout Mt Washington Valley.

Those interested in booking the Inn to Inn Holiday Cookie Tour package may make reservations directly at the inn of their choice any time. Visit www.countryinnsinthewhitemountains.com for more information on the event and the packages.
