Guana Island, the renowned 850-acre private island resort in the British Virgin Islands, is excited to announce a collaboration with HALL Napa Valley, a prestigious family-owned winery celebrated for its exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon wines. This partnership will bring exclusive three-day fine-dining experiences to Guana Island in November 2023 and April 2024. The two HALL Wine Programs, designed to enrich guests’ appreciation of wines, will take place from November 30 to December 2, 2023, and April 4 to April 6, 2024. The programs will include meals, tastings, and wine-related activities for guests.
The November program offers a unique opportunity for wine enthusiasts to explore the journey of high-end wines from vineyard to bottle. Led by Lisa Covey, Director of Public Relations at HALL, guests will engage in discussions about Napa Valley Appellations, terroir, and agriculture. The April 2024 program, building upon the November session, will provide a more technical perspective. Megan Gunderson, Vice President of Winemaking for HALL, will lead conversations focusing on the art of winemaking, offering guests a deep dive into the winemaking process.
Both programs feature a lively beach barbeque complemented by Pinot Noir pairings from WALT, HALL’s Pinot Noir brand. Guided tours of Guana’s organic orchard, a 10-course dinner expertly curated to complement Napa Valley wines, and Caribbean delicacies are also part of the experience. Guests can also opt for private 1:1 wine tastings to explore specific vintages and Napa Valley regions of interest. These programs cater to wine connoisseurs and novice enthusiasts alike, inviting them to savor world-class wines against a backdrop of tropical paradise. The wines showcased during the programs will be available for purchase.
Comprising two distinct yet complementary programs, guests have the option to book them individually or together. All activities and meals are included in the cost of the stay, starting at $995 per night.
