Carnival Cruise Line is set to commemorate America’s 250th birthday in 2026 with a series of special sailings that promise unique patriotic experiences and ship meetups. These cruises, ranging from three to eight days, will depart from six homeports: Miami, Port Canaveral, Jacksonville, New York City, Long Beach, and San Francisco.
On July 4, 2026, seven ships from east coast homeports will gather near Celebration Key, while three ships from the west coast will unite near Ensenada. During these meetups, each ship will host patriotic-themed deck parties, entertainment, and special food and drink offerings, creating a festive atmosphere at sea.
From the east coast, guests can choose from a variety of itineraries. Short getaways include sailings on Carnival Conquest and Carnival Glory, both departing on July 3, 2026, for three-day escapes to Celebration Key. For those looking for a slightly longer adventure, Carnival Sunrise and Carnival Elation offer four-day Bahamas cruises departing on July 2, 2026, from Miami and Jacksonville, respectively. For a more extended journey, Carnival Celebration will embark on a seven-day Eastern Caribbean cruise from Miami on June 28, 2026, while Carnival Vista offers an eight-day Eastern Caribbean sailing from Port Canaveral, departing on June 27, 2026. Northeastern guests can join the celebration aboard Carnival Venezia, which will depart New York City on July 1, 2026, for an eight-day cruise visiting Celebration Key, Nassau, and Half Moon Cay.
On the west coast, Carnival Firenze will sail a three-day Baja Mexico cruise from Long Beach, departing on July 3, 2026. Carnival Luminosa offers a four-day option from San Francisco, departing on July 2, 2026, while Carnival Radiance will embark on a five-day Mexican Riviera cruise from Long Beach on June 30, 2026, visiting both Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada.
